How to backup the bookmarks in firefox

Open firefox , click on the drop down menu

 

 

Click on bookmarks tab

 

 

click on import and backup

Click on backup. This allows you to save the bookmarks as *.json file. These can be used to restore the saved bookmarks into Firefox.

 

 

But if You want to use these saved bookmarks into other browser like opera you have to save in HTML extension file for this click on export book mark to html tab
