against light. You can also see the denomination of the note in second spot marked as 2

in 1000Rs note). The printed portion on the other side matches back to back to
form the number. This is also seen when viewed against light.
4.Diamond (in 1000rs note),circle ( in 500 note),triangle(in
100rs),square(in 50rs)- these symbols can be seen next to the portrait of
Gandhi. These can be felt by hand and helps the visually impaired.
5.The color of the numerical 1000 and 500 in respective
notes changes color when viewed at different angles.(green to blue)
6.The security thread with Bharath, RBI, and denomination of
the note(1000 for 100rs note)inscription and the thread changes color from
green to blue at angles. The thread appears as a continuous one when viewed
against light.
7.Micro lettering can be viewed by a magnifying glass. RBI1000 in

8.The denomination given in vertical lines (hidden or latent
image) best seen when kept at eye level.
9.Fluorescence in series number, number panel, security
thread, and few particles scattered in the note glows when exposed to ultra violet
light.
10.Year of printing in the reverse of bank note.
Over all the quality of the paper is to be noticed. The original note is slightly thicker and has a good feel.
